Capstone Phase 1 saw the business development and scoping of a web development project that would assist in solving the Queensland polices issue of Sextortion.
This was one of the first times my team and I were given no assistance when communicating with the client. This gave us the opportunity to organise meetings, confirm client expectations and produce a scope that would be realistic to complete in Capstone Phase 2

Our project is in collaboration with the Queensland Police Service, specifically in the cybercrimes department.
The project aimed to develop a technical solution to address the increasingly prevalent issue of online sextortion, which has affected thousands of individuals across Australia.
The client-approved project goals are as follows:

Help users identify suspicious online interactions, and thus warn them before they fall victim.

Reduce the instances of people sharing intimate images with others they meet in an online environment.

Encourage users to report instances of cybercrimes.

Assist guardians in supporting their children in the case of such crimes (availability of support network)
